Why I Love the USA - Cory - Successful Melting Pot

Cory is my brother-in-law. He’s witty, a self-taught photographer, a musician, and a sound expert. He loves nature, travels often for work, and he’s seen more of the US than any other person I’ve met. This is what he said when I asked him why he loved the USA.

“The reason I like America is that, regardless of how divisive it’s become, it is still a successful melting pot. That's one thing that hasn’t gone away. People from everywhere are able to make a life here, practice their religions, find community, and pursue any vocation. In any major US city you never have to go far to find vibrant pockets of culture, cuisine, and comradery from all over the world, and I’m grateful for that.”
